Position Title: Market Manager<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reports to: Regional Director Asia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Resumes to: Thailand<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Location: Bangkok Office<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Purpose:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Market Manager\u2019s primary responsibility to onboard, develop and maintain a high-quality portfolio of hotel and property products (i.e relevant as per company requirement, attractive and competitive) for Travelbullz international customer base, within their assigned territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l High impact personality: intellectual agility, entrepreneurship, compassion in relationship, great teammate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Accomplishment in hotel contracting. Success in acquiring, mentoring & building long term relationship with hotel partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Demonstrates ability to prioritize work and be laser focused on achieving critical targets, goals and\/or strategic objectives set by company<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l 20-30% of travel for market visits to meet regularly with key hotels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Able to work independently as well as part of a team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Conscientious, quick learner, adaptable, Self-aware, accountable, responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Independent work ethic, ability to work remotely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Thai Language is must<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Build and progressively expand a portfolio of local hotel partners prioritize from company needs and facilitating hotel on-boarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Develop and sustain strong partner relationships with hotel partners. Providing relevant data and high quality consulting services to hotel partners (high efficiency package, marketing opportunities)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Execute effectively based on KPI metrics (targets, goals and\/or strategic objectives) set by the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Ensure that partner hotels\u2019 product (content, rates and availability) is consistently optimized and competitive.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Represent TravelBullz in the local market, build Travelbullz company profile with key local influencers (e.g., tourism bureau, hotel association, etc.) and provide expertise to the local industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Manage listing processes for new hotels and renewals with existing hotel partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Identify, qualify, contact, consul and visit the important hotels and accommodation suppliers to grow the portfolio in assigned territory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Educate Travelbullz colleagues on market dynamics and specific needs\/requests from your portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Secure additional rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers\u2019 pressing needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Secure seasonal deals and dynamic promotions within the guidelines set by Management to support the brands\u2019 merchandising and marketing efforts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Responsible for monthly KPI review reporting to team leader or SVP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Responsible for monthly key hotels and hotel chain review with team leader and OP team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Bachelor\u2019s Degree or equivalent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Minimum 5 \u2013 7 years of hotel contracting \/ hotel revenue & distribution experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Solid hotel revenue \/ e-commerce \/ distribution background with proven record of handling major OTAs and online wholesalers will also be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Thailand National would be a plus<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Excellent organization and time management skills, rigor, attention to details<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of communication channels<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Able to work independently as well as be a strong team worker, ensuring the whole team wins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Ability to work and thrive in a multi tasked, fast-tasked, fast paced environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Proficiency in English and Thai language skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Proficiency in MS office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Appetite for innovative technology, fast changing business environment, data driven decision- making.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Demonstrates analytical skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

l Relationship builder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUST : <\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You must be Thailand Native<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. English & Thai Language : Read\/ Write & Speak<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. A background in the\u00a0travel \/ hospitality industry<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Strong\u00a0product and hotel contracts knowledge<\/strong>, especially for\u00a0Thailand<\/strong>. Additional destination expertise is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
